Two Headed Fish Found In Australia

In Northern Australia, near a recently expanded macadamia nut farm, thousands of bass larvae have been discovered to have two heads.  This isn’t the first time that aquatic life has been discovered to have severe deformities, but the development of two heads is a severe deformity and causes death.  Not only have the bass larvae been discovered to have two heads, but they also are convulsing.  So, what is it that’s causing these deformities?  Contrary to previous belief, it’s not a bacteria, it’s pesticides.

Maybe you’re thinking you could see that coming a mile away, but did you also see that area livestock were suffering from similar fatal birth defects?  Did you know that the farm runs near a river and that it’s not only a water source for the bass larvae, but that it’s also a source of drinking water for the farm animals?  The deformities, it is believed, are caused from a toxic water source.

The pesticides in question, or rather the organophosphates that it is believed cause the toxic water are two who have been found to be extremely harmful and have even been banned in many countries, yet some continue using these despite their obvious side effects.

The thing is, that this isn’t the only place that there have been aquatic life found with deformities.  All over the world strange things have been happening to fish, frogs and toads.  Some frogs have been found without eyes or with four eyes.  In many different isolated incidences fish larvae have been found with two heads, two tails and an extra eye.

What does this say for the rest of the world if marine life and farm animals are suffering from toxic water?  What kind of effects will ingesting the plants that have been treated with these organophosphates have on people.  Never mind adults, what about the people who have been consuming the products of toxic water all their lives?  Even if they don’t get sick, what kind of birth defects will this cause their children?

More to the point, how do we know whether or not the water any of us drink is toxic?  From two headed fish to deformed farm animals, these things are happening all over the world and unless we do something to help clean our waters and stop the pollution, we all might be looking at having deformed offspring, in addition to potential cancers that we all face from drinking water that has pollutants and eating food that has been grown in the toxic water or been drinking pollution for it’s whole life.
