Well whats a green goal? Eating green, sleeping green buying the color green?
If that is the case my Green Goal is to wear a Green Shirt every Tuesday!

For me, it's about making an effort to control the waste problem. A year ago I read an article about a household that decided to go green for a week, which meant they had to use reusable containers, couldn't eat at places like McDonald's that used foam containers, composted all their organic material, and things like that.
After reading that, I tried it for ONE DAY. I had no idea how much WASTE I produce just living by myself. For me, my green goal for 2009 is to stop "brown bagging" my lunch. Brown bagging may be cheap, but it's not cheap for mother nature. I've begun buying small little pretty cloth bags to take my lunches to work with. These little things are going to be my little "mini" green goals for 2009.

My goals for this year are to teach as much as I can to my kids about the environment. As you can see from my name, I have three. lol
They are from ages 8-15. I have started off small. I printed out a little cute picture with words reminding them to shut off the water when they brush their teeth. I'd love to share and brainstorm with people here on what else I can do.

My green goal for 2009 is to GET OUT of New York. Seriously, I feel like I'm suffocating slowly and torturously. I've started looking around at midwestern states, but I have no idea what I should be looking for. I don't know if I even know what I want. I just can't take the city anymore. I need grass and trees and animals.

Dunno if this counts as a goal since I have to be here for school, but I'm here to participate in an environmental community. So that's what I'm doing... yeah. Thx.

A green goal is anything that helps decrease processing. I've recently started juicing everything at home or making my own smoothies. This helps cut down on all those darn Jamba cups we threw away over the years. I feel bad about those now...

I think a green goal is anything that you do to assist the planet, bringin you even a smallest step back to the basics. Walking to the post office? That's a green goal. Choosing salad over a burger? Green goal. Just my 2c.

My "green" goal is to lower my cholesterol by eating more whole grains and breads. I've eaten white bread basically my whole life and I've only recently discovered that I actually REALLY like whole grain bread.
