Hello, I am new here, but I figure I have to take the plunge some time and start writing.

My bf and I are in college and I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I am exceptionally lazy when it comes to cooking. We eat out a lot at a nearby diner.

He and I talked it over and we've decided that unless the weather forbids it, we will now walk the short distance to get our meals. Just a small act on our part, but it will benefit us in health, money, and heart.

I'm eager to hear from people.

That's actually a really good idea. A lot of times we eat at a restaurant nearby and it probably only takes about 10 minutes to walk there, but we always drive. I'll definitely have to try that! My kids would probably benefit from the fresh air...
